Academic Standing at UTD

To remain in good academic standing at UTD, undergraduate students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0. Graduate students typically need to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, depending on their program.

If your GPA falls below the required threshold, you may be placed on academic probation. Students on probation must earn at least a 2.0 GPA each semester until their cumulative GPA rises above the minimum requirement.
