"Throughout my 20 years in education, I've seen countless students struggle with understanding their grades and what they need to achieve their goals. GradeGenius was created to solve this problem once and for all."
Professor Wilson founded GradeGenius in 2018 after witnessing the anxiety and confusion his students experienced when trying to calculate their grades. With a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and extensive classroom experience, he understood that transparent grade calculation was key to student motivation and success.
What started as a simple spreadsheet for his own students has evolved into a comprehensive suite of calculators used by millions of students and educators worldwide. Professor Wilson continues to lead the educational direction of GradeGenius, ensuring all tools are pedagogically sound and truly beneficial for academic success.
When not improving GradeGenius, Professor Wilson teaches at Pacific Northwest University and conducts research on educational technology and student motivation. He's published numerous papers on how transparency in grading impacts student performance and well-being.
